Rescue Diver
The PADI Rescue Diver course is where you truly grow as a diver.
Course Description
Over two rewarding days of diving in Amed, we’ll guide you through realistic, hands-on training that teaches you how to recognise, prevent, and respond to dive emergencies in the water. It’s a challenging course, but also one of the most fun and confidence-building experiences in Bali diving.
You’ll learn to handle scenarios such as panicked, missing, and unconscious divers, while improving your awareness, problem-solving, and teamwork both underwater and on the surface. By the end of the course, you’ll feel calmer, more confident, and much more prepared—making you a safer diver and a better dive buddy wherever you choose to dive next.

Day 1 – Confined Water Rescue Training in the Ocean
Day 1 – Confined Water Rescue Training in the Ocean
We start in calm, shallow ocean conditions, which serve as our confined water area. Here, we complete two focused training sessions in which you’ll practice essential rescue skills, such as assisting tired or panicked divers, managing surface issues, and developing strong situational awareness. We take our time, repeat skills as needed, and maintain a supportive, encouraging environment—learning is always more important than rushing.
Day 2 – Open Water Dives & Final Rescue Scenarios
Day 2 – Open Water Dives & Final Rescue Scenarios
On the second day, we move into open water for two rescue dives. These dives bring everything together through realistic rescue scenarios, including searching for missing divers, responding to unconscious divers, and managing emergencies both underwater and at the surface. We’ll guide you throughout the scenarios, helping you think clearly, stay calm, and work as a team—skills that truly define a confident and responsible diver.
By the end of the course, you’ll notice a big shift in how you dive. You’ll be more aware, more confident, and better prepared to look look after yourself and others while diving in Amed, Bali. The Rescue Diver course is demanding, but it’s also one of the most rewarding experiences you can have in your diving journey.
