Kubu's Best Dive Sites
Kubu Wreck (Boga Wreck)
Kadek's FavouriteThe Kubu Wreck in Kubu is a compelling site for advanced divers seeking a mix of history, vibrant coral, and abundant marine life. The shallowest part of the wreck starts at 18 meters and descends to 33 meters, making it ideal for experienced scuba divers in Bali. Over the years, it has become a thriving artificial reef, home to schools of tropical fish, colourful macro critters, and nudibranchs, while eagle rays, barracudas, and curious octopus occasionally glide past the encrusted hull.
Calm conditions and clear visibility let divers explore the wreck at a relaxed pace. Every nook is full of surprises, from tiny macro creatures to larger pelagic visitors, creating a dynamic and engaging dive. The combination of historic wreck, coral-covered crevices, and abundant marine life makes it a standout for reef diving in Bali.
